I Can't Worry About You

Have you every been in  a situation and someone tells you that they have something to talk to you about?
You instantly know what it is...That's called discernment.

When you have dealt with a person for many years and they are not living for God. You really don't want to expect the worst, but you know the worst will come if they don't change their ways.
We love those that may not or may be apart of our lives. You want to see others succeed. You want to see others happy.

But really it comes down to not our wishes. It comes down to that individual  and  the choices they make for their own life.

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.~James 4:10

We can spend too much time on something that will take us from God. Personal matters can clutter the mind and consume our thoughts.  The only way to overcome this is to Pray and be committed to what you ask GOD for.

I can't worry about you, but I will pray for you.

Easter Sunday

Easter means alot of things to different people. I know when I was a child we attended the Catholic Church and after service we had a fest at home waiting for us. Everyone would try to be seated at the dinning room table. Alot of laughter, stories and talking over one another. My grandparents got joy out of seeing everyone together at their home.

Today I have my own family and we still attend church and yes we will have a lovely dinner this evening. This Easter Sunday I will attend church with my two daughters and my grandson. I so look forward to being in the presence of a total experience. I pray to God that as we worship, praise and hear the word preached to us,  that THE WORD will lay on our hearts so we can restore in ourselves that once was dead.

We are so blessed that we have been forgiven for our sins. Jesus paid the ultimate price for our lives.

"For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. "No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father."~John 10:17-18

Meaning of Forgiveness

We Fall Down

Love this song by Donnie McClurkin. It says alot about trouble and defeat. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.~Romans 8:37. We don't let our circumstances keep us in a oppressed, depressed or suppressed mindset.

Prayer without ceasing. Is an ATTITUDE, an attitude of God-consciousness and God-surrender that we carry with us all the time. Every waking moment is to be lived in an awareness that God is with us engaged in our thoughts and actions.

So the next time" you fall down" what kind of action will you take? You can prepare your mind and spirit the next time adversity comes right now. We don't know the situation or when, but it does not stop the power of prayer. Protecting your self is loving yourself.

No more tears of worry. No more thoughts of "why me." No more feeling less than.

When we pray for the Spirit's help ... we will simply fall down at the Lord's feet in our weakness. There we will find the victory and power that comes from His love.~ Andrew Murry

Elijah

My first grandson was born yesterday his name is Elijah. What an overwhelming feeling to see a life come into this world! To witness the joy it brought into all our hearts; my daughter, my mother, her sister and myself. My daughter looked so beautiful, not ruffled at all just gorgeous.

 God allowed me to pray before, during and after the entire birthing process. There definitely was a calmness in the atmosphere. There was no distress nor medical emergency regarding mother and child.
What a blessing to experience the peace of God as Elijah came into this world.

I pray that the new mother learn who Jesus is to be able to bring up Elijah in a loving, healthy, nurturing and productive environment.
Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.~Proverbs 22:6

As the grandmother of Elijah, I pray to God that I can be a positive mentor to help him embrace God's Love. Through me God will give me what I need to be that strength for him. For now...I am the intercessor until he is able to cry out to God on his own.

I Am Not Afraid

There comes a time in our lives when change is necessary.  Having to make life choices can be overwhelming for anyone.

Overcoming an obstacle such as fear can be achieved by unwavering FAITH.

The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
~Psalm 27:1

God is with us on this journey. We must believe in His Love and His promises for us.
