Helping Others

Over the years I have grown to know that whatever you set your mind to you can do it. At one time all I knew how to do was be a mother and a wife. When I became single again I had to find myself by letting go of the past and making plans for the future.  God became a source for all my needs.

Today is wonderful. I help people, family and friends with advice and minister to them as often as I can. I can talk to them as God has taught me through His Word. The word is a powerful thing and this is a seed being planted every time we share with one another. You can’t beat that.

The young men in my Prison Ministry with include my son, we write often and my heart goes out to these young men because they are so young and have endured such adversity. I feel privileged to extend love to them. I talk to them as a Woman of God with motherly love.

This experience is a foundation for me as a Motivational Speaker.   Learning as you live is the best education of life you can have.  Being a true servant of God you must adhere to His Word and be faithful to all that he has you to do.

Romans 12:3-11
“For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;” (NKJV)
